CHILDREN FLOCK TO HAVE FUN DURING THE SCHOOL HOLIDAYS AT TIMES SQUARE SHOPPING CENTRE

Times Square Shopping Centre is currently having its Hobbies Carnival 2015 which started on the 27^th March 2015 and is ongoing daily 10am -10pm until 5^th April 2015. So, for those who has not had the chance to participate in the carnival, come on over now to have some fun.

The ten-day event features car racing by Pemkar, Nerf Zone by Combat Enterprise and more. In the Nerf Zone, players are equipped with Nerf guns and blasters and their main objective is to shoot their way through the obstacles that are presented in front of them while defending themselves against incoming attackers.

There was also a Lego competition last weekend where the competitors had to battle against each other to see who can assemble the Lego pieces the fastest.  Md Syafii won the first prize, Md Fauzan Iman came in second and Abdul Hakim in third. Not only that, there was also a Coloring Competition last weekend. Noor Muhd Assa Salim won first prize and got a hamper and coupons from Best Eastern, first runner up was Nur Mahirah binti Haji Dollah followed by Muhammad Aiman bin Bobi Ardi. Not forgetting there was also a Lego exhibition from Bru-Fol that showcased their amazing Lego collections from Batman to Avengers.

One of the highlights of the carnival is the Impersonator competition on the 4^th April 2015, 7pm where participants will get the chance to win amazing prizes by dressing up as their favorite fictional character from television, games or comic books. Categories for the competition include Under 12 years old category and Open category. Moreover, there will also be a special Avengers category where any contestants coming as a character from the Avengers 1 and 2 will automatically be eligible to join the special category. The best Avengers impersonators will win themselves a special movie package which includes movie tickets for Avengers (1) and Avengers (2): Age of Ultron, as well as special Avengers popcorn and drinks combo sponsored by Times Cineplex. Yoyo Performance by Yo Splinter will also be held on the 4^th and 5^th April 2015, 2pm – 5:00pm. There are also bouncer, face painting, mini activities at Times Square Shopping Centre, a place for everyone.
